Hannah Evelyn Rowlands is a UK-based illustrator.

I like to illustrate by hand using ink and then use magic from the computer. I also love collage, pattern and... millions & millions of procreate layers. A big fan of technology, also a hoarder of Japanese stationery and vintage toys.

I’ve been a creative, freelance and in-house. For over 5 years I worked for global character brand Sanrio - across the Mr. Men Little Miss, Hello Kitty and Gudetama (& others!) characters.

Over the last decade I’ve created a clothing range, licensed out my art, worked on editorial illustration, fashion for teens & kids, and a lot of greetings cards. My work has also blessed the fabric of dog beds and dog outfits.

By night I draw lots of animals, a lot of dogs, and things that sometimes make me laugh. Maybe nobody else.

My vibe: comforting but slightly weird characters, humour, soft surrealism, nostalgia and child like adulting.

LIKES: 

the internet, dogs, electronic music, vintage toys, the north, photoshop marathons, naps, more dogs and night time adventures (with lots of beer).

DISLIKES:

existential crisis, pigeon abuse and people who try and rob me while I'm riding my bike.
